Requirements
- Required certification: EP (Electrophysiology)
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of EP experience required 2. Cases: EP procedures including ablations, implants (ICD, Pacemaker and CRT), leadless pacemakers, LAAO 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; all RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system used throughout BJC system 7. Shifts/Call: Call required 1-2 nights per week and every 2nd to 4th weekend; every other weekend required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Must be proficient with Biosense Webster Mapping system, Carto and NaVX mapping systems, Bloom and Micropace stimulators, GE Cardiolab, Cryo and PFA Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal. 40 orientation hours. Adult patients only.
