Requirements
- Required certification: EP (Electrophysiology)
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required; 2 years of experience noted; must have electrophysiology experience with implants, complex ablations, LAAO, cardioversions, tilt table and TEE procedures 2. Cases: 6-12 procedures daily; complex patients at referral center with anesthesia coverage for 95% of procedures 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Late shifts required, no call; self-scheduling 8. RTO: RTO should be included at submission, approved by unit manager on WOC; no guaranteed time off; no time off granted during first week of assignment; two pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same base rate; no radius rules for applicants 11. Background: Facility will review all background hits; ER and Psych candidates require fingerprinting per Virginia code 37.1-183.3 with 15-20 business day turnaround 12. Modules: 6 hours average, completed during orientation on VCU Learning Exchange; non-billable, factored in NBO; must be completed by Friday of orientation week 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: VCU has natural nail policy 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Biosense Webster Carto, Siemens SC200 ultrasound, Sonosite ultrasound, Siemens P500 ultrasound, Medtronic cryotherapy, GE CardioLab, GE biplane and single plane X-Ray, Baylis RF Critical: Skills required include circulate procedures, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, scrub procedures. Candidates will float within scope if needed. Two references required. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
