- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Electrophysiology Lab, or Special Procedures area preferred; some units accept 1 year experience; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Daily caseload 4-10; daily census 4-8 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of employment; CCI RCES or CCI RCIS preferred; NIHSS; Registered Cardiovascular Technologist preferred 4. License: VA or compact license required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic and Claris experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; no weekend requirement; may float to Cath Lab if low census 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; need to add week at end if requesting more than 7 days RTO; OR/CST unit only takes 1 holiday request; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Nursys report only 12. Modules: 8 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start via WorkRamp within 1 week of signing 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital; must be able to scrub 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Carto, St. Jude and Spectranetics laser skills preferred Critical: Must include middle initial at submission. Must scrub, monitor, circulate with EKG skills, ablations, pacemaker/defib device placements, rhythm interpretation and watchman procedure skills required. EP procedure experience including arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, and left atrial appendage closure required.
