- Unit Notes:OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels POSITION SUMMARY: The Special Procedures Tech I assists physicians with arteriograms and or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in diagnosis and treatment of patients. In doing so, prepares examination area, positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines. Assists physicians as necessary by passing materials, taking exposures as directed and more. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
