Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Perm – Director of Nursing (DON)
Shift: Days / 7a-3p, 8×5, 40 hrs per week, M-F
Length: 52 Weeks
Weekend Requirements: When Needed.
On Call Requirements: Based on Rotation.
Requirements:
- At least 3 – 5 years of nursing experience. – [REQUIRED]
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse License (Verified by Nursys). – [REQUIRED]
- Strong servant leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, serve as a positive role model.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Associate Degree in Nursing. – [REQUIRED]
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Current Basic Life Support Certification – [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
- Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing – [REQUIRED]
- Infection Preventionist Certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire, free program offered through CMS)
- Experience in Matrix EMR. – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- ACLS, BLS
