Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: s/p cardiac surgery, s/p major vascular surgery, Heart failure on temporary mechanical circulator support 3. Certifications: ACLS & BLS required; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: DC license in hand required (pending status accepted with proof at submission) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 nights 1900-0730; every other weekend required; holidays as needed; float to ICU and IMC required; majority may be days with up to two weeks night shifts 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; candidate address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation 13.
