Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months ICU experience required; 2 years preferred. Must have experience with cardiac and neuro patients as ICU is mixed with both. 2. Cases: Cardiac and neuro patients 3. Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) 4. License: FL license required; facility does not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required at a 3 or 4 level 7. Shifts/Call: Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles; guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12s or 40 hours for 8/10s 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; any RTO added later will likely not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 6-15 hours; completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad; time sensitive modules must be prioritized 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: White scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: EKG and Pharm test required during orientation (2 attempts max for each, no remediation) Critical: Smoke free facility - all travelers must be nicotine free with negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start. Two references from direct supervisor required. Compliance deadline is Monday prior to start.
