Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1-2 years Open Heart ICU experience with ventilator management required; 18 months required, 2 years preferred 2. Cases: Open Heart ICU with ventilator management 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start); no pending certs accepted 4. License: No license hits accepted; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles; guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12s, 40 hours for 8/10s; block schedule not accommodated 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission only; facility will not review RTO submitted after this time 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 6-15 hours; completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad; time sensitive modules must be prioritized 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: White scrub color required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Experience with Swans, IABP, Impella, Hemodynamics and post heart recovery required Critical: SMOKE FREE FACILITY - All travelers must be nicotine free, no exceptions. Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required. EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts max. Two references from direct supervisor/manager required. Facility has strict DO NOT call policy.
