Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Adult Cardiac ICU
Shift: Days/ 7a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs/week
Length: 13 Weeks
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend to every third weekend. Dayshift weekends are Saturday, Sunday. Nightshift weekends are Friday, Saturday.
Holiday Requirements: Yes, every other.
Requirements:
- IL license
- At least 2 solid years of CVICU experience (prefer more) with continuing to travel having ICU assignments
- Must have CVICU or Cardiac ICU background
- Must be able to interpret strips
- AHA BLS
- ACLS, CCRN or PCCN preferred
Other Details:
Nurse: Patient: Ratio – 1:3, depending on patient acuity and population can go to 1:4.
Float to every level of care. Travelers are expected to take a full team. Travelers on Stepdown are expected to be able to float up to the ICU.

Requirements
- Required certification: CVICU
- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes Department: Acute Cardiac Intermediate Unit | RN # Beds: 20 beds, all private, all monitored. - Nurse: Patient Ratios: Ratio – 1:3, depending on patient acuity and population can go to 1:4. - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CCRN or PCCN a plus. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Patient Population – Stepdown patients from AHU ICU, TAVRs, Ablations, Watchmen Procedure, Micras, Mitral Clips, heart failure, trached and ventilated patients, overflow from other Stepdowns
