Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of current CVICU experience required; may consider SICU experience with initial training in CVICU 2. Cases: Fresh hearts, CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR; ventilated patients, chest tubes and lumbar drains, chronic and acute renal failure 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required at time of submission 4. License: Active NJ RN License or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend and holiday required; floating required to all ICUs, PACU, ED for ICU holding patients, and all IMC units 8. RTO: All time off must be sent with submittal and approved before offer; RTO after offer will NOT be accommodated; must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone from health system minimum 1 year before eligible to return for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted 12. Modules: 4 hours Epic training and up to 18 hours additional; average 18 hours non-billable modules; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Must have experience with Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax OR experience with fresh heart cases; Post Op Open Heart Recovery, Swan, Flotrack, Temp Pacers, Alines, and Chest Tubes required Critical: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Patient ratios 1:1-2, may vary if floated. References required.
