- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of CVICU/open heart experience required; will take 1st time traveler with extensive experience 2. Cases: Cardiac Surgery (CABG, valve procedures), CAD (STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, cardiogenic shock), Vascular (peripheral bypasses, EVAR), Thoracic (VATS) 3. Certifications: RN MD state license, ACLS, BLS required; AHA only; CPI Certificate required for most units 4. License: Active MD or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x 12-hour nights (19:30-08:00); holidays required as scheduled; every other weekend required; on-call not required 8. RTO: Must be included at initial submission; cannot exceed 7 days; one major holiday allowed during winter; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added to contract 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away 6 months from system 10. Travel/Local: 50+ miles required; locals under 50 miles not allowed 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, factored in NBO 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Navy preferred 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Compliance deadline 5 days prior to start. Float required PRN to IMC (1:3 ratio).
