- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Fresh cardiac open heart patients, CABG, valve replacement, TAVR required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Stroke CEUs required at time of submission 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; must work 2 of 3 holidays 8. RTO: Screenshot of RTO confirmation required upon submission; less than 7 days RTO and no holiday time off prioritized; RTO after offer not accommodated 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone minimum 1 year before eligible for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits not accepted 12. Modules: 18 hours average non-billable modules for RNs; 4 hours Epic training plus up to 18 additional hours; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: Will accept first time traveler 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, CVVHD/CRRT experience required Critical: Patient ratios 1:2, can go to 1:3 based on acuity; fresh cardiac open heart patients are 1:1. Must float to CCU/CTICU and ICU and/or stepdown. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Maximum 3 submissions per candidate per facility.
