Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 2 years cardiac ICU experience preferred 2. Cases: Cardiac, vascular, thoracic ICU patients; CABG; valve repair; TAVR; heart/lung transplant; VAD implantation; ECMO; aortic/esophageal repairs 3. Certifications: BLS/ACLS required; NIHSS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours D/N rotating or nights; up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week period; no call; minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6+ months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Total artificial heart, VADs, ECMO, CRRT, Swan Ganz, IABP, Impella, ventilators, temporary pacemakers, chest tubes Critical: Skills required include IV start, telemetry, vents, Swan, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, PA lines. Patient ratios 1:1-2. Float required within equivalent or lower acuity units. Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Ohio fingerprinting process urgent upon contract signing.
