Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred 2. Cases: Cardiovascular ICU patients including CABG, valve repair, TAVR, heart/lung transplant, VAD implantation, ECMO, aortic repairs 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours D/N rotating or night; up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week period; minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block; no call 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6+ months away; current employees ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT, VAD, ventilators, Swan Ganz monitoring, temporary pacemakers, chest tubes Critical: Float required within equivalent or lower acuity units. Patient ratios 1:1-2. Skills required include IV start, telemetry, ventilators, Swan Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, PA lines. Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently after contract signing.
