- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1st timers accepted 2. Cases: Cardiovascular intensive care patients including LVADs, balloon pumps, swan catheters, temporary pacemakers, femoral and venous sheaths, arterial lines, TR bands, patients on CRRT; post AAA repairs 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; Epic, Pyxis, SBAR systems used 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; no call requirements; patient ratio 1:1-2 8. RTO: MAX 7 days; required with submission; Spring Break blackout April 4th-12th; holiday restrictions apply 9. Returning Staff: Must be away 1 FULL YEAR from all Piedmont facilities to return as traveler; if deemed unable to return to one facility, must complete one successful assignment outside Piedmont before rebooking at new location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, factored in NBO; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: LVADs, balloon pumps, SWAN catheters, temporary pacemakers, CRRT machine, venous/femoral sheaths Critical: Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract.
