Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; CVICU experience preferred 2. Cases: CABG, Aortic Aneurysm repair/dissection repair, Fem Pop Bypass, Pulmonary Embolism, Cardiac Arrest, Endovascular repair, Heart failure, MODS, Sepsis 3. Certifications: ACLS & BLS required; RQI certifications will NOT be accepted 4. License: Pending license accepted at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2 ratio; no on-call required; may float to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED, PACU; 36 or 48 hour contracts available 8. RTO: No RTO first 7 days or last day of contract; 7 days or less automatically approved; one holiday bundle maximum preferred; greater than 7 days needs approval 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees can return as travelers if out of system 12+ months; 6 month break required after 4 consecutive assignments or one year mark 10. Travel/Local: No locals within 100 mile radius; non-local driver's license required 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 4 hours, non-billable beyond 4 hours; completed during orientation and annually 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted; previous travel experience not required 14. Scrubs: Black 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, SWANNs, ART lines, CVCs, Chest tubes, Hemosphere, Phillips monitors, ZOLL, Arctic Sun, Belmont, BairHugger Critical: COVID vaccination required with exemptions accepted. P/F testing required. Must be available for compliance work first 1-2 weeks after signing. Minimum 10 week contracts. OT approval rare.
