- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred; MUST HAVE ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY (EP) EXPERIENCE 2. Cases: Cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology procedures 3. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (AHA only), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required (AHA only) for pediatric facilities; One preferred certification: RCIS, RCES, RCS, Radiography (R) by ARRT, CI, CV, VI by ARRT, or various RDMS certifications 4. License: State Licensure required based on modality - Texas: MRT or LMRT by TMB 5. Education: Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology, associate's degree in healthcare-related field, or acceptable equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred 6.
