- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months required, 2 years preferred 2. Cases: Cardiac Cath experience and Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro required; must have two of four modalities experience reflected in work history 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) required in hand; Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred; RCIS also preferred; no pending certifications accepted 4. License: No license hits accepted; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: Call required on case-by-case basis with no set schedule; weekend coverage can be discussed with manager 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; RTO added later will likely not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: 6-15 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Ceil Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: IABP, cardiac implant devices, stents, rotablader atherectomy equipment Critical: Must be nicotine free (negative 10 panel + cotinine drug screen required). EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum. Two references from direct supervisor required. Compliance deadline is Monday prior to start.
