- Unit Notes:**Radiation Badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start** Department: Cath Lab Tech *Certifications Required: BLS, RCIS or ARRT (ARRT must be registered with NDMIRT)* If clinician is RCIS credentialed they will not be responsible for panning/activating fluoroscopy they do NOT need ND License. If clinician is ARRT credentialed they could be responsible for panning/activating fluoroscopy they will be REQUIRED to hold an active ND Rad Tech License PROFILE REVIEW+MANAGER INTERVIEW - # of suites/labs 3 labs - #cases per day on average 4 per day - Common diagnoses/Types of patients Emergent Revascularization, LHC, RHC, ATK Peripheral Diagnostic/Interventional, Cardioversion, TEE, Devices, Pericardiocentesis, Temporary Pacemaker - Job Duties scrubbing in and/or panning, IV starts - Experience or 'Must have' skills "if only have panning experience and not scrubbing that is okay, majority of role is panning. IABP, Impella, Shockwave (preferred), Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, 4 port manifold" - Prefer experience with IV starts, ok if not" - EMR/Equipment "EPIC & Philips Xper (Hemo) - Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, 4 quart manifold" - Cardiologist hours/on call Intensivitst MD In house 24/7 MD - Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Charge - Cath Lab Techs Rad Tech - Shifts & Scheduling: M-F 730a-4p + call, Team lead to make scheduling, posted 17 days prior- for 6 weeks at a time - Weeknight/Call Requirements 1-2 days per week (weeknight call hours are 3:30p-7a) - Weekend/Call Requirements every third weekend on call, (from Friday-to Monday morning, weekend call is 24hr) - Holiday/Call Requirements every other - What is call response time? 20 minutes response - Floating Requirements Heart and Vascular Pre/Post- helping hands - Scrub Color/Dress Code provided - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? one week- classroom and lab - Additional Notes Lead will be provided, bring your own lock for locker and hospital designated shoes Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
