Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift: Days/ 7a-4p, 9×4, 36hrs/week
Length: 13 Weeks
Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes, 6-8 call shifts/month. This includes the primary call and backup call.
Weekend/Call Requirements: Every 6-7 full weekend, starts Friday at 5:30pm and ends 0600 am on Monday morning. There are
addition weekend shifts that RNs will serve for Back up person. They will be the circulator for emergent cases. These shifts are 24
hour shifts and happen on average once/month.
Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes, Easter BU call shift.
Requirements:
- IL license
- 2 years’ experience
- Mus have to ability to read strips. We titrate drips occasionally
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
Other Details:
Floating Requirements: We don’t float, but if have experience in IR could share.
EMR/Equipment: EPIC; We have GE and Philips monitors and McKesson.

Requirements
- Required certification: Cath Lab
- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes Department: Cath Lab | RN - # suites/labs: 6 - #cases per day on average: 1:1, 4-20 cases/day. - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, NSTEMI, HF, congenital, TAVR, MITRACLIP, PERIPHERAL. Cath lab is separate from IR and EP. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Nurses need to have to ability to read strips. We titrate drips occasionally. - EMR/Equipment: EPIC; We have GE and Philips monitors and McKesson. - Cardiologist hours/on call: Cardio
