Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years preferred, 1.5 years hard stop minimum; no first time travelers 2. Cases: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, pacemaker insertion, electrophysiology procedures 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: CA license must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; Meditech charting system 7. Shifts/Call: 7 days on call per pay period (2 nights/week post shift + 1 weekend/2 weeks) 8. RTO: 7 days maximum; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); RTO must be included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility employment 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: RN - Royal Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Impella, Balloon Pump Critical: LA fire card within last 30 days required. Two supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state. Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
