- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; must have home hospice case management experience, no exceptions; specialty experience within the last year required 2. Cases: Home hospice case management; census roughly 35-45 patients 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS courses must be through American Heart Association (AHA) 4. License: VA RN License required in hand at submittal or proof of compact license 5. Education: NIH and stroke education required for RNs at all acute care hospitals under Riverside Health 6. EMR: Epic charting system experience required for all acute care hospitals under Riverside Health 7. Shifts/Call: Floating may be requested based on facility needs 8. RTO: Keep to minimum, preferably no calendar week off during assignment and no more than 7 days total; must be in initial submission; no additional RTO requests approved after offer given 9. Returning Staff: Prior permanent employees must be gone for at least 6 months before being hired for travel; cannot work both Riverside Travel assignments and Riverside Per Diem contracts simultaneously 10.
