- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have acute care hospital inpatient CM experience 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: BLS required; copy of certifications required with submissions 4. License: Will accept pending licenses but must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required; must have Epic OR travel experience - will not consider candidates without either 7. Shifts/Call: 5 8-hour days, 2-3 weekends during contract, every other holiday, every 4th weekend 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; no additional requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; requires one year separation and UVA leadership approval; cannot return after 365 days on assignment regardless of separation period 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile travel restriction; locals not accepted for specific listed units 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, recorded in Workday; excess hours are billable 13. Travel Experience: Must have travel OR Epic experience 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: First time travelers MUST have acute care and Epic experience - Hard Stop Critical: Patient ratio 30 during days. Float required within scope of practice.
