- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; will accept first-time traveler with inpatient hospital/acute care experience 2. Cases: 15 cases daily; inpatient case management providing and coordinating medical home care, placement & social issues-wrap around type services for safe discharges 3. Certifications: BLS preferred; CPI certification required as part of compliance; AHA only for BLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP or AAP only for NRP 4. License: RN MD state license required or Compact License at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting preferred and required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 Days, Monday through Friday block (08:00 or 08:30-16:00 or 16:30); holidays required as scheduled; weekends not required but opportunity available 8. RTO: Must be included at time of initial submission; cannot be changed once offered; should not exceed 7 days; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added to contract; one major holiday off allowed during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away for at least 6 months from system 10. Travel/Local: Locals under 50 miles not allowed; permanent residence must be 50 miles or over from hospital; floating required between Bel Air and Aberdeen facilities (10 mile radius) 11.
