- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required - Case Manager in outpatient clinic, acute hospital setting with care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment/Order DME 2. Cases: Medical inpatient experience required; experience with IMC or Med Surg unit required 3. Certifications: BLS required; previous charge experience required 4. License: MD LICENSE required at time of submission (must have either compact license or MD license) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: M-F 5x8 Days 0830-1700; no on call requirement; float throughout patient tower across MedSurg units as necessary 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10.
