Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN - ER

Shift: Variable D/N, 7a or 7p, 8's, 12's per week
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • Active MN RN license
  • 2 Years Experience
  • Required experience: comprehensive general and trauma Emergency Department care across combined adult/pediatric populations, including dysrhythmia interpretation/management, multisystem organ dysfunction management, 12-lead EKG, arterial line and central line care, phlebotomy, IV starts, emergency medications, IV insulin and vasopressor protocols, procedural sedation, CVA/neuro-trauma (ICP monitoring, hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, TBI, spinal cord injury), ortho trauma, and a broad range of medical/surgical/psychiatric conditions (abdominal pain, asthma, burns, epiglottitis, head injury, hyperglycemia, infection, near drowning, poison ingestion, respiratory infection, seizures, sickle cell crisis, skin disorders, UTI, mental/behavioral health), plus abuse/neglect identification and reporting, BiPAP/CPAP and ventilator management, chest tube insertion/management, ABG interpretation, intubation, isolation precautions/PPE, triage, and pediatric ER experience.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, & TNCC Certifications
  • Preferred experience includes working in a STEMI- and Stroke-certified facility, managing continuous IV paralytics and sedation, applying/managing splints, and treating gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations.

Requirements:
- 2 years minimum of ER experience
- Active MN RN license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, & TNCC Certifications
- 2 clinical references, at least 1 leadership reference from assignments within the last year

Shift Details:
- Start times: 7a or 7p
- 12 and 8 hour shifts available

Orientation Details: 1 full day of orientation
