Travel Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (L&D) Puyallup, WA

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Birth Center

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW, No call

Length: 13 weeks

Holiday Expectations: one major, one minor

Requirements:

WA License
Minimum 1 year experience
Strong L&D experience
Post-partum experience: mom and baby beyond the transition period next 24 hours. Basic breastfeeding
Experience receiving and being comfortable with couplet care once mom and baby are stable
Pyxis experience
Skills required: need to do cervical exams, antepartum and labor, amnio infusion, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin
BLS
NRP
Fetal monitoring (AWHONN or Relia’s module)

Other Details:

EMR: EPIC Stork, GE Centricity
Will only float to areas where they are competent
Traditional travelers will float between L&D and Mother/Baby
First-time traveler accepted
Patient Ratios: To follow AWHONN and NANN guidelines: 1:1 for active labor, 1:2 for non-active laboring
Scrub Color: Provided
