Travel Nurse (RN) PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) Tacoma, WA

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PICU - Pediatric/Neonatal Transport

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 17 weeks

Weekend rotation: every other weekend. No on call.

Requirements:

WA license
5 years in PEDS ED/PICU & Level IV NICU (at least 1 year of each)
At least 3 years of neonatal/peds transport experience within the last 5 years
BLS
PALS
NRP
TNCC preferred
STABLE preferred

Other Details:

EMR: Epic
Float: when not transporting, will help in units where needed; may also work as helping hands
First-time travelers accepted
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Pediatric and Neonatal patients; common diagnosis included HIE, ppHN, asthma, respiratory illness, sepsis, DKA, other metabolic disorders, trauma (accidental and non-accidental), ingestions, congenital heart defects, cancer, NEC, etc
Scrubs: black
152 total bed level 2 trauma & level 4 NICU that serves the Puget Sound region and surrounding communities as far as eastern Washington; provides CRRT and ECMO
