Travel Nurse (RN) NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Spokane, WA

Epic Travel Staffing is
hiring a Travel RN - NICU

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Every other weekend expectation, possibly more based on need of unit
Holidays: 2 of 4 holidays can be expected

Requirements:

WA License
2 years NICU experience in Level 3 facility
Skills required: Nitric oxide, central lines (UAC, PICC, UVC), total body cooling, vent experience, NAS care (eat, sleep, console treatment and morphine & wean), Familiarity with: Draeger volume ventilation, NIPPV, bubble CPAP, HFOV (high-frequency oscillatory ventilation)

Other Details:

Charting System: EPIC preferred
Floating: Units: L&D (newborn stabilization), Postpartum (Newborn Nursery with 1:5 ratios – rooming in is practiced at Deaconess)
Rotation: Floating 2-3 shifts per week possible; 1 shift guaranteed in NICU/week for travelers, Occasionally floating to be a house sitter
First-time traveler accepted
Patient Ratios: 1:2-3, acuity dependent ; 1:1 if highly acute
