Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Nursing Administrator

Shift: Non-exempt, Mids, 11a–9:30p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week

Every Other Weekend required
No on-call required

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

Active NY RN License (required at time of submission)
2 years of experience
Relevant clinical experience in assigned area of nursing practice
Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred (3–5 years nursing clinical care)
BLS
BSN required (Associate degree in nursing considered only with relevant experience and active matriculation in a BSN program, with proof)
Master's in nursing or health-related field preferred

Other Details:

Leads nursing practice using Relationship Centered Care and Modified Primary Nursing care delivery model
Proficiency in Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR); role models expected behaviors and integrates PHR into clinical activities
Assesses staff competency, provides feedback, and oversees rounding on all patients
Communicates patient experience and staff engagement data to interdisciplinary team; collaborates with physician dyad and escalates concerns
Strong problem solving, teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
EPIC experience highly preferred
Floating required within scope as needed
Accepts local candidates; locals live within 50 miles of work location, travel candidates live over 50 miles away
1 year of previous travel requested; client will consider an RN with less travel experience
