Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU/Oncology 36's
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 or 26 weeks
Weekend Requirement: Yes — 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period (Days: Sat/Sun; Nights: Fri night and Sat night)
Requirements:
- NE License
- 2 years of prior experience required
- Prior experience in a large, urban hospital (2 years)
- BLS
- ACLS
- EPIC charting experience required
Other Details:
- Charting System: Required, Epic
- Drips required on all floors
- Must be prepared to float frequently, including to lower-acuity/higher-ratio assignments
- Float Requirement: Yes — travelers float first/frequently; may float within scope to Bellevue campus and units including 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, SOTU
- 1st Time Traveler: NOT accepted, unless traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
- Local Accepted: No — candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility
- Unit & Ratio: 24-bed unit, adult progressive surgical/oncology/palliative care/progressive acute care (chemo patients)

36 or 48hr option and 13- or 26-week contract option!
***Travelers are first to float. RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the hospital, including higher ratios for lower acute patients***
This 24-bed unit serves adult progressive surgical, oncology, palliative care and progressive acute care patients receiving chemotherapy.
BLS, ACLS required
2 years of prior experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital)
Drips are required on all floors
EPIC charting experience required
First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center)
Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus). Units may include, but are not limited to 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, SOTU.
In addition to CNAs, care teams include care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics. LPNs are assigned on some, but not all, floors.
100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY
Weekends: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in an 4-week period. Days: Saturday and Sunday. Nights: Friday night and Saturday night.
RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion.
***Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work 2/3 major holidays - winter holidays are below:
Thanksgiving: W/Th/F
Christmas: 24/25/26
New Years: 31/1/2
Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.
Scrubs: MANDATORY - RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo printed on the back. Information on how to obtain Nebraska Medicine branded scrubs will be shared once traveler is confirmed. Facility also sells gray T-shirts that can be worn in their company store.
