Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement: Yes — 8 weekend shifts
Requirements:
- NC License
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Traveler Experience
- Must have Cardiac Tele experience (Cardiac Tele unit)
- IV Start and Telemetry
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- ACLS
- BCLS
- NIH (NIHSS)
- Stepdown experience preferred

- Unit WILL accept 1st Time Travelers
- Float Requirement: Yes — floating is required

- Unit & Ratio: 1:6 ratio, average daily census 23 (Cardiac Tele unit)

Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias

Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Step-Down experience
JOB DETAILS:
RATIOS: 1:6 ratio, Avg. Daily Census: 23.
Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks
***RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer***
12 HOUR NIGHTS; 18:45-07:15
36 or 48hrs can be offered, if accepting 48hrs, no OT billed until after 48 hours.
Float Requirement: YES, Floating is Required.
Weekend Requirement: 8 Weekend Shifts.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Cardiac Arrhythmias, MI, ACS, Diabetes uncontrolled, DKA, Heart Failure, post heart catheterization, post PPM, post ICD. Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure. Quality nurses needed that can handle same ratios as other units.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure. Tele/Stepdown/IMC quality nurses needed that can handle same ratios as other units.
**No charge nurses on the unit. Teamwork is a must**
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: N/A
UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION: 3 day orientation. First day EPIC training, the next two days on the unit.
SCRUBS: Navy or white
