Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Ultrasound Tech - Echo/Sonographer

Shift: Mid / 10:30a-6:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

1 year experience
Echocardiography experience in an inpatient hospital setting
Experienced Sonographer to perform high quality Adult Echo studies as per ASE & IAC Guidelines in a premiere cardiac center
Experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography
Inpatient Echo work experience is a must
Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies
High School Diploma or GED
AHA BLS
Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills
TEE and Stress Echo experience preferred
Familiarity with 3D echo imaging preferred
TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, closure device protocols preferred
Maintaining ICAEL-accreditation echo lab standards preferred
Experience using Philips ie33 and Epiq systems preferred
Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred
