Travel Nurse (RN) PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Louisville, KY

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PACU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: None, but subject to change based on unit needs
On call? May be required if staff member on holiday to cover
Holiday Expectations: Based on unit needs

Requirements:

KY License
2 years experience
Complex post op recovery experience required. Must have strong ICU level skills, ie. manage vents, multiple drips, spinal drains and lines. Strong assessment skills a must. Self-driven and willing to learn and be flexible
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS

Other Details:

Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, following ASPAN standards
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
EMR: Cerner
Float: Yes, will float between Pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II as well as adjacent recovery areas
