Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Nuclear Medicine Tech

Shift: Days, 7a-3p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

NMTCB certification or ARRT/NM certification
2 years of experience
BLS

Other Details:

Nuclear Medicine / Vascular and Heart department
Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures per physician specifications, including patient transfer, positioning, and immobilization
Operates all Nuclear Medicine imaging and related equipment; evaluates image quality
Prepares and administers radioisotopes per Radiologist protocol; follows Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA)
Maintains records of radioisotope receipts, use, storage, and disposal per state and federal guidelines
Practices sterile technique and follows infection prevention policies
Max of 6 studies per day with help from support staff
A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required; providers are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer/assignment when available, as a newly issued badge will not reflect prior exposure history
