Travel Nurse (RN) Oncology (ONC Unit) Arlington Heights, IL

hiring a Travel RN - MS/Oncology - 2ES

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend as needed
Holiday as needed

Requirements:

IL License
At least 2 years of nursing experience
BLS
Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Other Details:

We are an 18 bed oncology unit. Our patient population is primarily straight oncology patients. Our most seen diagnoses include anemias, pain control, neutropenia, shortness of breath/pneumonia, etc. We also administer inpatient chemotherapy, although the agency RN would not be chemo competent, therefore would not be administering chemotherapy. We do also take inpatient hospice patients. On the night shift, our nurses take 5-6 patients and have 1-2 PCTs on the floor to support the nurses.
