Travel Allied OR Tech (Surgical Tech) - CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating room) Falls Church, VA

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Certified CVOR Tech

Shift: Days / 6a-7:30p, 12x3, 36 hrs/week
Length: 13 weeks

Weekend expectations: Rotated per departmental needs

Required summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th July or Labor Day) & winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Xmas) per department need

Call is required approx. 1-2 12 hour shift M-F and 1 weekend per month

Requirements:

2 years recent scrub experience in complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases
Adult scrub experience
State registration
Must complete an accredited surgical technology education program and or have worked as a surg tech prior to 07/01/2012
AHA BLS
CST
Currently hold NBSTSA
Pediatric scrub experience a plus

Other Details:

These include, but are not limited to, the following: Coronary Artery Bypass, Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Valve Repair and Replacement, Structural Heart Procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), Thoracic Organ (Heart and Lung) Transplant, ECMO, Ventricular Assist Devices, redo and emergent cases
