Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Certified Sterile Processing Tech

Shift: Nights, 10:30p-6:30a, 8x5, 40hrs per week, M-F
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

Minimum 5 Years of recent, full-time experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a high-volume hospital setting, with demonstrated proficiency in all phases including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart preparation candidates with less experience or requiring extensive onboarding will not be considered
Experience handling complex instrument trays for specialties such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, and cardiology, with the ability to identify and resolve issues autonomously in fast-paced environments; no entry-level or partially trained techs accepted
Current CRCST certification (or equivalent) required, along with proven track record of independent operation in decontamination areas without supervision; must provide verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed
BLS

Other Details:

Extensive hands-on knowledge of AAMI standards, OSHA regulations, and Joint Commission guidelines for sterile processing, including immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS) protocols—applicants unfamiliar with these will be disqualified
