Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN- ER
Shift: Mid, 3p-3:15a, 12x1,12hrs per week
Length:13 weeks
Requirements:
- Active NJ or Compact license
- 1.5 years of current ED experience with Adults and Peds
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Charting: EPIC experience required
- Trauma Level II Experience required
- Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
- Trauma Level I Experience preferred
Other Details:
- Ratios: 1:6 in main ED areas (Pods C, D, E). B-Pod is critical care with a typical 1:4 ratio. Pod A is Fast Track with higher patient ratios. D-Pod includes both medical and behavioral health patients; many behavioral health patients are medically cleared, on 1:1 observation with a sitter, and awaiting transfer to the PESS unit. Typical ratio in D-Pod is 1:6-7.
- Unit Details: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics; 64 beds; PCT/Tech Support
- Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception. Ratios vary based on census, patient acuity and staffing. ER only, does not float to other units, May care for holding patients.
POSITION: Per Diem RN - ED Evenings
SCHEDULING AND COMMITMENT

• Shift: Evenings 3p-3:15a
• Scheduling & Commitment: Clinicians must be fully committed to working a minimum of (4) shifts per month. Must be dedicated to getting into the lab and completing compliance asap
• Cancellation Policy: Three (3) last-minute shift cancellations, defined as cancellations within 24–48 hours of the scheduled shift will lead to facility review and may result in a final warning
SEPARATION RULES

• staff must be separated for a minimum of (6) months.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 1.5 years of current ED experience with Adults and Peds.
REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Active NJ or Compact license is required at time of submission
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ITTC- De-escalation Training (Refer to submittal instructions)

• Level II Trauma Center; Management of dysrhythmias; Triage
• BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance; Care of Ventilated Patient; Central line care/management; IV vasopressors
UNIT DETAILS
