Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN - MS/Tele Oncology

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12x1, 12hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NJ License
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of MS/Tele with Oncology acute care experience
  • EPIC experience
  • BLS
  • ONS/ONCC Chemo Immunotherapy Card prior to start

Other Details:

  • Charting: EPIC
  • Must float within their skillset without exception. Ratios vary based on census, patient acuity and staffing.

MUST BE ABLE TO START ON 6/8/26 or 6/15/26
POSITION: Per Diem RN- MS/Tele Oncology (Chemo Cert Req)
SCHEDULING AND COMMITMENT

• Shift: 7a-7:30p
• Scheduling & Commitment: Minimum (4) shifts per month required. Clinicians may temporarily pick up up to (3) shifts per week; standard maximum is (2) shifts per week. Must be dedicated to getting into the lab and completing compliance asap
• Cancellation Policy: Three (3) last-minute shift cancellations, defined as cancellations within 24–48 hours of the scheduled shift, will lead to facility review and may result in a final warning
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Clinicians may work at only one RWJBH site and must be submitted exclusively to the site where they are fully committed to work; once submitted and approved, a site-specific requisition ID will be assigned, and location changes will not be permitted thereafter.
• (2) Clinical Leadership references from assignments within the last 2 years (Charge nurse not accepted).
• Submission review turnaround time could take 1-2 weeks.
SEPARATION RULES

• Prior RWJBH staff must be separated for a minimum of 6 months
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum of 1.5 years of MS/Tele with Oncology acute care experience
REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Active NJ or Compact license is required at time of submission
• Required Certifications: BLS; ONS/ONCC Chemo Immunotherapy Card prior to start

• Oncology & Chemotherapy Management: Oncology; Administration of chemotherapy; Monitoring Chemotherapy
• Vascular Access & IV Therapy: IV therapy/Phlebotomy; IV pumps
UNIT DETAILS

• Unit Details: 26-bed Med/Surg/Oncology unit providing care to adult and geriatric patients, including post-operative, medical-surgical, and oncology patients receiving provision chemotherapy.
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Floating: Yes — Candidates must float within their skillset without exception. Ratios vary based on census, patient acuity and staffing.
• Parking: arranged through HR at the facility. Fees (if applicable) are based on shift time and number of hours worked per week and may be up to $14/day. Park on the 5th floor (rooftop) only — no fee. Night shift: no fee.
ORIENTATION / MODULE DETAILS

• 1st day computer training at home on Monday, 2nd day on unit @ 7a on Tuesday
