Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN - Labor and Delivery
Shift: Variable D/N/ 7a-7:30p/7p-7:30a, 12x1, 12hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA RN License
- 2 years’ experience required
- Additional experience requirements: Circulating C-section skills, strong clinical assessment skills related to L&D and co morbidities of DM, Hypertension, Obesity, and Hemorrhage.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, No EMSA
- Advanced fetal Monitoring
Other Details:
- Charting: Allscripts EMD charting. Training modules provided. Per Diem clinicians are required to do Allscripts (computer-based training) prior to start on their own time.
- Covid Vaccine declinations are accepted
- Flu required – declination are accepted
- Scrubs: Royal Blue scrubs
Job Description
All candidates must understand needs will be sporadic and may go weeks without a needed.

RETURNING CLINICIANS: PIH requires ALL Staff, Travel, and PD clinicians, who have previously worked at PIH Health Systems to have a supervisor reference from their previous work at PIH. Work history may exceed two-year work reference parameters; any timeframe will be accepted as long as reference is from direct supervisor and confirms yes for rehire. Please include returning PIH reference and Updated Supervisor reference at time of submission.
1 year separation period for PIH staff employees required. Submissions with 2 or more health system pipelines will be rejected.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience required
- CA RN License, No EMSA
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced fetal Monitoring
- Additional experience requirements: Circulating C-section skills, strong clinical assessment skills related to L&D and co morbidities of DM, Hypertension, Obesity, and Hemorrhage.
- - References: Two direct supervisor references, updated within the last year and from work exp within the last 2 years. Must be from unit they are applying to. 1 reference must be included at the time of submission. Peer references are not accepted.

7a – 730p / 7p – 730a
Orientation:
- Basic unit orientation, such as location of linen, medication carts, etc.
- Per Diem is required to do Allscripts Emd (computer-based training) prior to start on their own time.
Additional information:
License Hits/ DNR: Any hits will require facility approval. Associated facility DNR's will be rejected.
