Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Home Health/Hospice Mobile
Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs/week, M-F
Length: 13 weeks
(rotating weekends and holidays); One weekend on call per month, one evening on call per week
Requirements:
- MI license
- Recent HH experience (within 2 years)
- OASIS proficiency, wound care experience, excellent infection control practices in the home environment
- Must have recent HH experience with proficiency in OASIS documentation
- AHA BLS
Other Details:
- Charting System: Other Computerized System(s) not Listed
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients/patient demographics: Home Health and Hospice patients. CHF, Diabetes, Renal Disease, Wound Care, IV therapy, management of drains and other devices
- A typical day would involve 6 points. This wound be an Admission plus 3-4 patients. Travel RN's are required to do SOC's, Re-certs and Resumptions
- Floating Requirements: All nurses will work HH and hospice. Primary hospice patients would typically not be assigned to a travel nurse but the travel nurse may have to see a hospice patient on call and we can teach that protocol
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any solid color, clean & professional
- Local: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility
