Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU 4B

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon, will accept 48

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• OH License
• Must have 2 years of ICU Experience
• Work Experience 1 year of RN experience 
• Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)
• BLS
• 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred) 
• Critical Care Course (preferred) Skills Assigns patient care according to the nursing skill, knowledge, and scope of practice of staff. Orients, facilitates learning experience
• Education Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)
• Training EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training (preferred)

Other Details:

• This position will not accept local candidates. 
• Expected to float to all levels of care if necessary
• Mixed unit of ICU and SD level of care
• 24 Bed Unit, 4D and 4B
• Alaris pumps, Vents, CPAP BiPap, pressors bonus items: IABP, EVD, ICP, TVP, CRRT, impella, SWAN, ECMO
• High Acuity, Neuro, Cardiac, postsurgical. 
• Ratios 1:2-3*
• Overflow can flex up to 36 beds.
• Provider coverage: Intensivist resident and hospitalist team of two mid-levels and two residents on nights. Rapid response team, a resource RN and house supervisor on 24/7.
• Scheduling: The first schedule is added to the end of the schedule period based on need, but we take preferences in to account and meet them the best that we can; block schedule, 3 in row, not three in a row etc. Then, they can self-schedule at the next opening.
