Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN- MS/Tele Float
Shift: Days, 7a-7:30p, 12x1, 12 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NJ License
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in acute care MS/Tele
- BLS
- NIHSS
- ACLS preferred
Other Details:
- EMR:
- Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception. Ratios vary based on census, patient acuity, and staffing.
- Charting: EPIC experience required
- Ratios: 1:5-6; Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown
POSITION: Per Diem RN- MS/Tele Float
SCHEDULING AND COMMITMENT
• Shift: 7a-7:30p
• Scheduling & Commitment: Clinicians must be fully committed to working a minimum of (4) shifts per month and may pick up no more than (2) shifts per week.
• Must be dedicated to getting into the lab and completing compliance asap
• Cancellation Policy: Three (3) last-minute shift cancellations, defined as cancellations within 24–48 hours of the scheduled shift, will lead to facility review and may result in a final warning
SEPARATION RULES
• Prior RWJBH staff must be separated for a minimum of one (1) year.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in acute care MS/Tele
REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Active NJ or Compact license is required at time of submission
• Required Certifications: BLS; NIHSS (ACLS preferred)
SUMMARY OF REQUIRED SKILLS
• Float Populations: MS/Tele; Surgical/GYN; Post Intensive Cardiac Care; Telemetry; CHF; Oncology; Renal, HD; Ortho, etc.
• Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias; Phlebotomy
UNIT DETAILS
• Ratios: 1:5-6; Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception. Ratios vary based on census, patient acuity, and staffing.
• Parking: Free parking is available in any unrestricted space. The garage is monitored by security cameras, and security personnel are stationed directly next to the entrance.
ORIENTATION / MODULE DETAILS
• 1 day computer training at home, 2nd day on-unit @ 7a
