Travel Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Tacoma, Washington – 928348

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor & Delivery – Birth Center

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3,36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: Every other, but can be variable based on need

Requirements:

• WA License
• 2+ Years Experience
• High acuity experience: labor management and delivery of high risk OB patients, ability to triage OB patients, circulate in OR, cervical checks, reading/interpreting fetal monitoring strips
• BLS, NRP, Intermediate FHM (AWHONN)

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC (required for preceptor)
• Float: Antepartum, postpartum, areas within scope and experience
• IV pumps: Alaris
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• Monitors: Fetal Surveillance, Centricity/Qx; CPN- required?
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 active labor, 1:2 non-active laboring, 1:2-3 antepartum, dependent on acuity
