Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU

Shift: Variable, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend scheduling: if on nights it is Fri/Sat if scheduled days it is Sat/Sun,  holiday rotation 
On Call/Call Back : No requirements for additional on-call or back-up.  Additional shifts MAY be available to pick up for sick calls

Requirements:
  • WI license
  • Minimum 2 years in ICU experience
  • Med Surg competent required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
Other details:
  • Must be willing to float
  • NOC shifts must have travel experience required
  • Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): The case mix is medical and surgical patients such as joint replacements and general surgical patients. They have 11 beds for covid patients. These are on one end of the unit with the rest of the patients in the other rooms. 
  • Scrub colors: Dark blue
  • Must live outside 50 miles from the facility

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). Aside from clinical care such as skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, travel ICU nurse jobs need a RN who can deliver progress updates and support to patients and/or their family.
