Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele 48’s

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36’s

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
  • WA License
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Skills required: High Flow, Chest Tubes, Peripheral IV Starts, dressing changes, wound vac, drains (JP Drains, Hemovacs, nephrostomy tubes), pain management, PCA, Heparin Drip, Central Line Management 
  • BLS
Other details:
  • Must pass a Rhythm Interpretation exam during compliance process
  • Consider first time Traveler
  • Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, BD Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis
  • Scrub Color: Any
  • Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5, Nights: 1:6
  • 123 bed, Level 3 Trauma Center – 3 MedSurg Units
Patient Types:
  • 3rd Floor (42 beds): Medical Patients: COPD, CHF, Sepsis, AKI/CKD, DVT, PE, Cellulitis, Pancreatitis, ETOH, IVDA; Telemetry capable – telemetry tech in addition to bedside monitoring
  • Acute Respiratory Floor (16 beds): Covid patients, COPD, Pneumonia, CHF, BiPap in COVID Areas, Patient ratios for COVID: 1:5, RT Office is next to this unit, and ICU is also next to this unit for a quick response on declining patients.
  • Surgical/Ortho (24 beds): Total Joint (Knees/Hips), Spine (Laminectomy, Fusion, Discectomy), GI (Exploratory Lap, Hemicolectomy, Bowel Resection), GU (TURP/Cysto (CBI)), GYN (Hysterectomy (partial/total)), Podiatry, ENT
Units: Medical Unit
