Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Shift: Days / 8a-5p, 8×5, 40hrs per week, M-F

Length: 13 Weeks

Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: None
Weekend Requirement: None

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Must have stress echo experience
  • BLS, RCS, RDCS, RDCS AE, CCI 
Other details:
  • Will accept 1st Time Traveler
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year Minimum Experience
Traveler Experience: Clinic WILL Accept 1st Time Traveler, as long as they have work experience
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
***MUST HAVE STRESS ECHO EXPERIENCE, SINCE THOSE ARE PERFORMED DAILY***
Adult Echo Skills: 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Treadmill Stress Echo
Professional Knowledge & Skills: Isolation Precautions,
Calculations: Simpson’s Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area
Certs: BLS, ARDCS AE or CCI Required, RCS, RDCS, RDCS AE.

RATIOS: 7 Visits/Day
SHIFT: *40 Hours Can Be Offered
Will Accept 13 Weeks.
8 HOUR Days; Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Phillips

UNIT ORIENTATION: We will give at least one day orientation in the department. There will be another sonographer onsite for questions. We will also provide protocols before arrival.

SCRUBS: Not Provided. Ceil Blue
