Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Shift: Days/ 7:30a-4p, 8×5, 40 hrs week, Sun-Thurs

Length: 13 Weeks

Weekend: Depending on schedule
On-Call: Possible occasional call may be included

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience if they have cardiac ICU, transplant, LVAD
    and more structural heart scanning experience
  • If not then 5 years experience
  • RDCS – Adults
  • BLS
  • Inpatient and ER Work Setting experience
  • Portables and Syngo General Skills experience
  • 3/D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echos,
    RIT/RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echos Echo Procedure experience
  • IV Starts, PACS, and Biopsies General Skills experience preferred
  • Siemens and Phillips Equipment/Scanner experience preferred
  • PICU, Neonate, and NICU Work Setting experience preferred
  • RDCS-Peds preferred
  • Excellian/Epic Charting
Minnesota – Does not require license
Position / Specialty: Echo Tech
Shift: 7:30a-4p. Will work Sunday – Thursday
Daily Caseload per tech: Department scans 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes per day.
Years of experience REQ: 3 years minimum if they have cardiac ICU, transplant, LVAD
and more structural heart scanning experience, if not, then 5 years required
First-timers accepted: No.
Weekend REQ: Yes-Will work every Saturday and Sunday
Is on-call REQ? Possible occasional call may be included
Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes.
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes – Tuesday – Saturday
Locals accepted: No. 100-mile radius.
Pending State License accepted: Yes.
Special Requirements: Certifications/Licenses: BLS and RDCS – Adults Required. RDCS-Peds Preferred. Work Setting Experience: Inpatient and ER required. Outpatient, Teaching hospital, PICU, Neonate, and NICU preferred. General Skills Experience: Portables and Syngo Required. IV Starts, PACS, and Biopsies preferred
