Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Sterile Processing Tech
Shift: Mid, 12p-8:30p, 8×5, 40hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
On call requirements: One day per week Monday through Friday. One weekend 24 hours Saturday and Sunday every fourth to fifth weekend.
Requirements:
- 1 Years’ Experience
- High school diploma Required or equivalent
- Experienced in all areas of SPD
- Intuitiv Davinci processing experience
- Cert Reg Central Service Tech or Cert Sterile Proc & Dist Tech
- BLS
- Graduate of an accredited sterile processing/central service curriculum preferred
Other Details:
- Must be able to retain knowledge of identification and necessary handling requirements of surgical instruments, medical supplies and equipment.
- Must be able to understand, speak, and write English fluently to communicate with the nursing, technical and medical staff.
